Families and care requests

What kinds of support can I ask about?

You can ask about companionship, respite, transportation and errands, personal support, and light household support. The intake conversation is the place to describe which category fits your needs.

Can I request care for someone else?

Yes. The Find Care form lets you indicate whether support is for yourself, a parent, a spouse or partner, a relative, or someone else.

Do I need an account to get started?

No. You can begin with a short form and share only the details needed for an initial conversation.

What happens after I submit?

Your submission creates a follow-up task for ProxyKare. A team member will contact you using the method you select.

Safety and service boundaries

Does ProxyKare provide emergency services?

No. ProxyKare is not an emergency response service. Call 911 or your local emergency number for an immediate danger, medical emergency, or urgent safety concern.

Does ProxyKare provide medical care?

ProxyKare focuses on non-clinical support conversations. We do not diagnose conditions or replace a licensed medical professional.

How do I ask about a service?

Use the Find Care form to identify the support category you want to discuss. The team can review the request with you during follow-up.

Pricing and visits

How much does support typically cost?

ProxyKare does not publish a rate card yet. Costs can vary by the type of non-clinical support, schedule, and provider fit. We will explain applicable costs clearly before you decide whether to continue.

How is pricing determined?

Pricing depends on the kind of everyday support being discussed, the schedule, and the details of the requested visit. The team will talk through the applicable estimate with you before you commit.

What is included in the cost of a visit?

The visit details, expected support, schedule, and any applicable costs are discussed together before an arrangement begins. Ask about transportation, supplies, or other visit-specific details so there is a shared understanding.

Does insurance cover these visits?

Do not assume that insurance will cover non-clinical support. Coverage depends on your plan and the type of service. ProxyKare will explain what is known about the arrangement, but you should confirm benefits directly with your insurer.

Providers

How do I express interest in becoming a provider?

Use the Become a Provider form to share your service area, service categories, availability, and work-authorization confirmation. The team will review the submission and explain any next steps.

Does submitting provider interest guarantee work?

No. Submission confirms interest only. It does not create employment, an engagement, a placement, or a promise of provider matching.

When are credentials or screening details collected?

The first interest form does not ask for document uploads or government identification. Any additional requirements will be explained clearly if you continue the conversation.

Privacy and contact

What information does the first conversation require?

The first conversation uses limited contact details, ZIP code, structured support preferences, and consent choices needed for follow-up. It does not ask for unrestricted sensitive narratives or document uploads.

Can I change my communication preferences?

Yes. Contact ProxyKare with your request, or use the available unsubscribe path for a marketing email or SMS preference. Service-contact consent is handled separately from optional marketing consent.

What should I share when I reach out?

Share the requested contact details, ZIP code, structured support preferences, and your preferred contact method. The first conversation is intentionally focused and does not request unrestricted sensitive narratives.
